Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16 1958) is an American actor from the United States. Her professional career started in the 1980s, and began to be noticed after being the Siobhan on the daily soap drama Ryan's Hope from 1982 to 1986. The most famous role she has played in the show is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural police drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a television series that aired from 2000 until 2013 as well as Immortality, a television movie released in 2015. Vegas (present-day) can be described as the sequel to the original. Helgenberger was also well-known for his role as K.C. Koloski on the ABC drama China Beach (1988-91) which was the reason she won her the 1990 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series. She has also appeared in the TV shows Under the Dome, Intelligence as well as the films Species (1996) Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) as well as Mr. Brooks (2007).
