Alexandra Cooper was a daughter born to Bryan Cooper and Laurie Cooper on August 21, 1995 in Newtown Pennsylvania. Her father was a hockey player in the University of Wisconsin. Boston University's coach acknowledged her talent and offered her a scholarship to play sports. Cooper accepted the scholarship offer and played for the Boston University Division-1 female squad in her four years of university. She was also co-captain in the final year of her career. Cooper helped lead the team to four M.C.T. They won Prep A for four years and won M.C.T. When she was a junior, she was also named to the All-Prep and All-Area First teams.
